Coaching Philosophy

ABstrategies embraces the ICF definition of coaching: “to partner with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential”.

MOTIVATED AND SUSTAINABLE CHANGE

We believe motivated people are capable of abundant learning and development. We navigate with our clients through purposeful conversations to support them to:

Build Awareness - Understand more about how you and your behaviors are perceived in the world

Change Behavior - Leverage your strengths and modify behaviors that aren’t helping you to succeed

Flourish and Thrive More - Drive sustainable success through self-awareness and positive behavioral change that is reinforced through repetition.

Coaching Process for Individuals

The process starts with a trusting, honest relationship between the coach and a motivated client. Establishing achievable but stretch goals is critical to the success of our engagement because it ensures accountability of the coaching process.

Next we explore the various options to achieve the goal through an iterative process. We build an action plan that captures the behavioral goals, action items and anticipated results. The completed action plan, represents the way forward that the client has crafted to change specific behaviors and attitudes.

At the end of the engagement, you will have achieved sustainable outcomes: specifically, increased awareness about specific behaviors, practical strategies for changing them, and new behaviors that you can call upon when faced with similar challenges in the future. The completed action plan is your personal guide to sustainable change.
